Jury deliberated three days.
Mauricio convicted on conspiracy and multiple wire fraud counts tied to false invoices and transfers.
Acquitted on one count where government could not establish he personally caused a specific transfer.
Good.
Precision.
The verdict did not say every invoice fake.
Did not say every dollar his.
It said scheme existed and he knowingly participated.
I cried in hallway.
Gabriel stood beside me.
Not hugging until I moved first.
Then I did.
“What now?”
“Sentencing.”
“And divorce.”
“Yes.”
“And work.”
“Yes.”
