He could say trauma and maternal stress were significant contributors.
Could he say Emma would have died without surgery?
He said:
“There was meaningful risk of severe injury or death if fetal distress continued untreated.”
Could he say Julian intended that?
“No.”
Burn surgeon testified grafting.
NICU doctor testified prematurity.
No permanent neurological injury identified.
Emma developed normally so far.
