Prescott Hospitality was not stealing millions.
The numbers were smaller.
That made them more believable.
Misrepresented Chloe salary retained:
$46,870.
Inheritance transfer:
$140,000.
Unsupported claimed equity beyond actual transfer:
$160,000.
Personal expenses paid through restaurant and tied to Damian:
$72,000.
Questionable investor representations:
$550,000 in financing influenced by false capitalization and guarantees.
That did not mean $550,000 loss.
Some loans funded real restaurant operations.
Criminal loss calculations would be narrower.
Wage claims included:
Eight months unpaid salary.
Potential overtime and statutory penalties depending employee classification.
Damian argued Chloe was exempt executive.
But she spent much of time doing kitchen cleaning, inventory, errands, hostess duties.
Job title alone did not decide.
Department of Labor investigation eventually joined.
Other employees reported tip-pool and overtime issues.
I wanted case to become giant reckoning.
Susan warned:
