Rachel’s shove did not become more criminal because money existed.
Money did not prove she intended Emma’s fracture.

The financial case moved slower.

Emails.
Account authority.
Who created what.
Who knew.
Mom still pursued visitation.
At the temporary hearing, Judge Elaine Porter asked her directly:
“Mrs. Hayes, why should I order contact when Emma has stated she is afraid of you?”
Mom answered:
“Because children should not decide family relationships.”
The judge’s face changed.
“Parents do.”
Mom looked toward me.
“That is the problem.”
The room became silent.
The judge denied temporary visitation.
Not forever.
Pending further proceedings and child safety review.
Outside, Mom shouted:
