No open civil lien.
No pending divorce matter.

Naomi said:
“This is administratively finished.”
I leaned back.
“Everything?”
“Everything I have.”
“No secret appeal?”
“No.”
“No last condo claim?”
“No.”
“No Northpoint issue?”
“Title clean.”
I laughed.
“Okay.”
“That’s all?”
“What should I do?”
“People usually say thank you.”
“Thank you.”
“Better.”
Then she became serious.
“You did well.”
“No.”
“What?”
“You did your job well. I survived it.”
“That counts.”

That evening I opened the title monitoring portal.
No liens except ordinary condo association references.
No mortgage.
No Thatcher.
I almost canceled alerts.
