Victoria was sentenced first because of cooperation.
Age thirty-five.
No prior record.
Serious planning role.
Substantial fraud.
Child victim.
Cooperation.
She received effective eleven years incarceration, followed by supervision, restitution obligations, and permanent no-contact during Chloe’s minority unless future court allowed, which it never did.
With credits and prison rules, she would serve a substantial majority.
Julian:
More severe because physical acts, threats, trial convictions, and leadership.
Effective fifteen years incarceration after merger of overlapping counts.
Not life.
Not seventy years.
He could eventually leave prison.
That frightened me at first.
Then therapist said:
“Finite sentence does not mean your safety becomes finite. Orders, custody law, and Chloe’s adulthood exist too.”
Good.
Julian appealed.
One forgery count merged.
Sentence reduced by several months.
Core convictions affirmed.
