“But you taught him staying was normal.”
She closed eyes.
That was hard.
“I know.”
I instantly regretted cruelty.
Then she said:
“You’re right.”
No defense.
I did not absolve.
But I understood cycle.
Fernando taught domination.
Monica normalized.
Beatrice endured.
