Victoria completed all court ordered obligations and requested permission through counsel to send me one final statement.
I agreed to receive, not respond.
One page.
No excuses.
No request for forgiveness.
She admitted the moment she saw blood she understood she had crossed from cruelty into catastrophe.
She could have stopped sooner.
She did not.
She wrote:
I spent years blaming Julian and Adrian because they were men with more power. I still had control of the throttle.
That sentence was the only one I kept in memory.
Responsibility.
She moved to Oregon.
