Horizon Nine Capital.
Who owned Horizon Nine?
A private partnership.
Managing member:
Grant Holloway.
My stomach dropped.
Grant again.
But not alone.
Minority member:
Richard Mercer.
Father stood.
“No.”
Documents showed his family office owned twenty percent of Horizon Nine.
He stared.
“I have never heard of it.”
Signature?
His.
Nine years old.
Could be buried investment.
Father had signed dozens.
Then underlying entity.

The same people around family debt.
They controlled investment decisions for Meridian Blue.
Mom had protector right but not daily account movement.
So thirty six million could move under manager authority without her signature depending mandate.

Several transfers were labeled protector approved.

Father signed a bundle.

Then Mom’s attempt to terminate failed because Richard consent absent.
She could have contacted him.

Then why disappear?

One sentence.
DO NOT FORCE ME INTO COURT YET.
I stared.
Then:
GRANT IS NOT THE PERSON WHO FRIGHTENED ME INTO LEAVING.
Everything shifted again.
Who?
Her next message:
ASK YOUR FATHER WHO WAS IN THE CAR THE NIGHT I DISAPPEARED.
