Chapter 16 - Caleb’s Wedding
At twenty nine, Caleb called.
“Grandma.”
“Yes.”
“I’m getting married.”
“To whom?”
“You met Rachel.”
Different Rachel maybe. Avoid same. Let's call Hannah.

“Will you come?”
I said yes.
Then:
“Dock wedding?”
“No.”
We both laughed.
He chose botanical garden.

“You were brave.”
I said:
“I was stupid to stay dock.”
She shook.
“You activated help.”

Then she told elder justice unit used anonymized case in training.
Manufactured incompetence.
Coercive guardianship.

I approved.
Then lake house safety.
I installed two life rings.
