So Vanessa’s cooperation came partly from being discarded.

Richard:
She won’t.
Olivia:
Then let her realize she can’t handle custody alone.
Financial pressure.
Control.
Then Richard:
If Whitmore takes care of her, we’re screwed.
Not because Maya unsafe.
Because she would no longer depend on him.
Dana highlighted pattern.

One concluded Maya’s signature was unauthorized.

Maya felt uncomfortable.
Her mother would absolutely hide something near grave? Maybe safety deposit at funeral home? Better clue points to "herbarium" where pressed flowers die, paper survives. Evelyn volunteered at botanical library.
Maya searched old donation records.
Evelyn donated pressed orchid collection to Queens Botanical Society.
Inside one archival mounting board:

She had hidden a photocopy in plain sight.

Annex B showed Evelyn surrendered:

50 percent voting rights in one family foundation subtrust.
Arthur’s restitution calculation had included direct equity and ventures.
Not the voting rights.
Because those rights had later been redistributed.
Correcting them would affect Gregory.
Maya’s uncle currently controlled the shares Evelyn once held.
If restitution were literal, Gregory could lose voting control.
