Adrian called it contingency planning.
Sophia was eight months pregnant.

Planning ahead did not equal conspiracy.
Reasonable.
Then we opened the document.
It did not say contingency.

Possible emergency delivery date.
The predicted weight differed from Leo’s actual birth weight by less than three ounces.
The projected delivery window began the night of the bombing.

Rachel challenged the classification.

“That is all?”
“No.”
“He told Nathan to fix it.”

“What words?”

Adrian said:
Whatever you did, make sure Sophia cannot take it to the board tomorrow.
Nathan answered:
Understood.
Adrian claimed he meant correct the report.
Nathan may have interpreted it differently.

Meredith identified Nathan from photographs.
She never met him in person.
But the voice on two calls matched.

Claire independently identified his voice.
The hidden room contained Nathan’s DNA on a cup.

Police issued warrants.

I stared at it.
“What happens after the nursery incident?”
Caleb understood first.
The kidnapping alert.
The gun.
Hannah.
Someone planned to use my reaction.
They expected me to attack the maid.
Then something would happen to me.
Police searched Nathan’s files.
A draft press release appeared.
Billionaire Lorenzo Rossi Hospitalized after Violent Breakdown.
Another file described an emergency board action removing me temporarily from Rossi Holdings because of mental instability after Sophia’s death.

Nursery security footage showing me pointing a gun at Hannah.
Witness statement from nurse Meredith Blake.
Medical statement from Dr. Julian Halloran saying I was unstable.
Julian stared at the forged statement carrying his signature.
“I never wrote this.”
They planned to frame Hannah for Leo.
Frame me as violent.
Use Julian’s identity to remove me.
Then Leo would die before Day Ninety.
