Eric Hall surrendered before entering the room.
Hands visible.
No weapon.
Security searched him.
He carried one flash drive.

He asked for protection.
“From Nathan?” Monroe asked.
Eric nodded.
“My brother is here.”
The hospital locked down again.
“Where?”
“I do not know.”
“That is not helpful.”
“He made me modify the monitor. He said the false alarm would move Leo.”
“You agreed.”
“He has my wife.”
Silence.
Eric showed a photograph.
His wife, Rebecca, tied to a chair inside an unknown room.
Timestamp less than an hour old.
Nathan had used family against another participant.
The pattern he taught Meredith.
Claire.
Eric.
Fear made people useful.
Eric said he modified the monitor but changed one thing.
He set the false alarm ten minutes earlier than Nathan instructed.
That gave him time to reach us before the planned transfer.
“Why not call police first?”
“Nathan monitors my phone.”
“Why bring the drive?”
“Because Sophia gave it to me.”
Before the bombing, Sophia visited the hospital to inspect Vale equipment.
She suspected Nathan.
Eric quietly told her his brother was accessing telemetry outside approved research.
Sophia copied files onto a drive and gave it back to Eric.
“If something happens to me,” she said, “give this to Lorenzo only after Nathan exposes himself.”
Eric became frightened after the bombing.
He hid the drive.
Nathan eventually realized Eric knew something.
Then Leo’s illness began.
Nathan pulled his brother in.

“Then it collapses.”

“You do not mean that.”

“I mean parents deserve to know what happened to their babies.”
Long silence.
Then Adrian:
“Give me one night.”
Sophia:
“No.”
Adrian:
“Then whatever happens tomorrow is on you.”
The sentence was not a murder order.
It was the last thing her brother said before helping Nathan place the case beneath her car.
A jury would decide what it meant legally.
I already knew what it meant to me.
He chose the company over the possibility she was right.
