Rowe took stand.
He looked at Barnes once.
Then not again.
He admitted false report.

Defense destroyed his character.
“You lied.”
“Yes.”
“You planted evidence.”
“Yes.”
“You hope for lower sentence.”
“Yes.”
“Then why believe anything?”
Rowe said:
“You shouldn’t because I say it. You should because I kept the messages.”
That landed.
They played recording.
Barnes:
Kid should’ve handed phone.
Rowe:
He’s bleeding bad.
Barnes:
He’ll live.
Rowe:
What happened?
Barnes:
He learned lesson.
Then another recovered mic segment.
Later, after Rowe asked about Dennis:
Barnes:
His old man will get message now.
That sentence changed room.
