Frank did not order Natalie to shave me.

He convinced himself that observation was safer than confrontation.
He feared Natalie would disappear and Lillian would approach another family.
He believed keeping the network close allowed him to gather evidence.

“At first.”

“So you punished kindness.”
“I thought kindness was a way to own people.”
“That is what your mother taught you.”
“Yes.”
“And you still chose the razor.”
“Yes.”
She did not ask me to forgive her.

Lillian did not control the wedding venue.
Someone inside Whitmore Meridian arranged the service elevator, false coordinator, and private camera access.
The person used Frank’s old executive credential.
Natalie met the person once.
